What will you photograph?
Although I specialize in photographing mostly buildings and landscapes for my clients ancestry research, I am prepared to photograph any requirement (within reason of course).No assignment is too small, if you only require one photograph, that’s no problem.
Give me some examples?
For ancestral research, I have photographed farmhouses, churches (inside and outside), schools, graveyards (and individual graves), local landmarks, monuments and general landscapes.
How much does it cost?
The cost of each assignment is different depending on various factors such as time taken, the number of locations, the distance I need to travel (fuel costs), the number of photographs, amount of post production work, other incidental costs such as parking, admission charges, donations etc.
The cost from the initial agreed quotation will be the final cost (no hidden charges).
How long will it take?
This really depends on weather conditions and the location of the assignment. The weather in this part of the world can be summarized as ‘changeable’, therefore I may have to wait several weeks for a suitable ‘window of opportunity’ and also taking travel time and other work commitments into consideration.
Can I use your photographs?
Yes, but only for your own personal use, you may also reproduce the photographs on a website (e.g. your family history site) please include a reference to my website. Reproduction of the photographs for commercial purposes is forbidden.
As the photographer, I retain full copyright of all images.
What happens if you cannot photograph all my requirements?
If, for some reason, part of the assignment cannot be completed you will be notified and a partial refund given.
